AS A FINANCE MANGER, YOU WILL:
Directly impact product pricing and location profitability through application of sound cost accounting methods
Ensures location and individual compliance with established ethics and practices in expense level and salary and wage expenditures
Functions as business financial consultant to the Plant Manager in the areas of taxation, depreciation, and capital spending
Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data
Accountable to divisional and corporate financial organization for application of sound accounting practices
Ensures compliance with the financial procedures of the organization
Has broad discretion in decision making, particularly in determining the applicability of policies and procedures to daily operational decisions
Hires, trains, develops and appraises the finance staff

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Eight years of progressively responsible accounting experience in durable goods manufacturing operations
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access)
Knowledge of Oracle systems or comparable business systems working knowledge
Ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a multifaceted environment
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for the direction and supervision of the finance department
Reports directly to the Plant Manager
