What You’ll Do:

In response to our growing business needs, we are excited to announce the creation of a new position: Finance Director, Omni-Channel. The Finance Director is the strategic business partner to the Omni-Channel organization, helping develop and guide strategy and overseeing the budgeting, forecasting and analysis of the channel’s business. This role will work closely with the Wholesale, Ecommerce, and Retail platforms, with an emphasis on supporting the growing Direct-to-Consumer channels. They will transform strategies into financial plans and measure results against targets and KPIs.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

STRATEGY

• Validate current year sales and gross margin forecasts by channel, SBU, and region; align forecasts with demand/commercial plans and confirm channel/category alignment with strategic glidepaths
• Partner with Omni-Channel leadership in developing strategic glidepaths and aligning glidepath across Business Units
• Support the development and growth of Wilson’s retail footprint and e-commerce platform, providing financial insight to both the long-term strategy and short-term execution

BUDGETING/FORECASTING

• Partner with Business Units and regional financial leadership to develop sales, margin, and spending budgets, creating alignment across channel, product category, and region
• Partner with sales, commercial, and supply/demand functions in the monthly/quarterly reforecasting process
• Provide financial support/insight to sales operations in the development of sales compensation/incentive plans

ANALYSIS

• Monthly review of financial results and performance against targets and history, with emphasis on channel contribution
• Analysis of sales and margin performance versus targets and history, understanding the impact from channel mix, product mix, foreign exchange, cost inflation, and other drivers.
• Analysis of customer profitability, understanding the key drivers such as pricing, standard cost, trade terms, discounts, charge backs, and allowances
• Provide Ad Hoc financial support and analysis to key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For :

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration plus at least 10 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance environment including at least 4+ years of experience in managing a team. An advanced degree, MBA or CPA and experience working with a multi-national or global retail/D2C brand are preferred.

• High energy level: ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ease and composure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with financial systems (SAP and Business Intelligence preferred)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%
