About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Senior Manager to join the Financial Planning and Analysis Team within Corporate Finance. This individual will lead the enterprise monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, managing a team to drive efficient delivery and support enterprise review and challenge of the outputs thereof.
In this role, you will:
Establish annual and monthly calendars to support the core budgeting and forecasting processes, working with partners across the enterprise to align and influence workflows
Manage database requirements for each cycle working in coordination with the FTO team (e.g. changes, timing, level of detail, etc)
Own the intra-year budget transfer process and the associated governance
Lead and manage a team focused on efficient process delivery
Lead efforts to focus on automating/streamlining processes – introducing workflow where appropriate, minimizing handoffs, etc
Provide guidance to partner teams, including around relevant targets and expected outcomes
Support review and analysis of outputs, including prior to process completion, and comparison outputs of these vs expectations
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Determine appropriate strategy for efficient and effective process in support of providing key finance services such as management reporting and key metrics forecasting
Advise senior leadership on issues with high, critical impact on the success of the enterprise
Develop policies and procedures for supported area of work within the function
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Finance
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
6+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications
BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Understanding the financial side and the strategic side of the business to assist the business in its growth efforts
Ability to translate and present financials, projects and data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
FPA Experience enterprise or line of business/divisional level
Financial Industry experience
Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills with a high level of proficiency with Excel
Proficiency with Essbase Finance tool for reporting and analysis
Experience using PowerBI and/or Alteryx a plus
Change Management Experience
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, including to senior executive-level leaders
