Director of Finance & Community Operations
The Director of Finance & Community Operations oversees the finance, accounting, reporting, human resources, facilities and customer service functions at TMPS. The Director of Finance &
Community Operations serves as a strategic thought partner with the Executive Director, bringing analytical and strategic thinking to the intersection of key areas of TMPS operations. The DFCO will offer critical support to the Organizational team and work closely with the Finance and Audit
Committees of the Board of Directors. The DFCO will report to the Executive Director and will coordinate the work of vendors and operational personnel to execute the TMPS vision and mission.
The position leads the school operations team, working to build operations talent and capacity across the organization. The DFCO collects and analyzes customer satisfaction data to inform and improve the customer experience with the goal of enabling instructional staff to focus on programming and student achievement. The overall goal of this role is to partner with school leadership and cross-functional departments to solve operational challenges that create barriers to teaching and learning, campus safety, and school operation effectiveness. Finally, the DO communicates regularly and effectively with members of their team, internal community members, and external constituent groups.

Time Commitment:
This position is 1.0 FTE (full-time exempt) and follows a 12-month work year with significant student-free days for professional learning and collaboration with colleagues and interaction with families through nightly events, overnight field trips, and weekend activities.
Salary and Compensation:
Salary scales are based on years of experience and expertise. Scales are competitive with other charter school organizations and local districts. (See attached link)
