Associate Manager, Measurement and Advance Analytics – Ice CreamBackground & Purpose of the Job The Associate Manager, Measurement and Advance Analytics – Ice Cream will act as the primary subject matter expert and lead the efforts across research, insights, knowledge, and data management in support of Ice Cream’s Digital Marketing, Media and Commerce (DMC) team.
This associate will closely align with key internal stakeholders as well as outside business partners to maximize the use of marketing analytics in support of the Ice Cream business.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do Strategic Research Leadership : Act as a strategy consultant, leading research and measurement initiatives across Marketing & Media to identify opportunities and needs in partnership with our business development and media teams.
Collaborative Project Management : Coordinate closely with cross-functional DMC team leads to strategize, plan, analyze, and execute projects, including consumer insights, brand and partnership studies, and cross-channel media measurement.
KPI Development : Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and learning agendas that align with our goals.
Industry Expertise : Serve as the go-to internal resource for knowledge and guidance on media measurement and performance, channel trends, performance thresholds and industry norms, and industry intelligence trends.
Consumer Insights : Monitor consumer trends and performance metrics by audience to provide insights and adapt Unilever’s strategy for audience growth, priorities and effectiveness.
Agency Relationships : Manage relationships with research and marketing / media agency(s) to ensure the delivery of high-quality data and insights.
Innovation : Identify opportunities to enhance our measurement capabilities by exploring new vendors, methodologies, and tools / resources for a holistic and well thought out measurement matrixData Analysis : Analyze and communicate findings from marketing mix models (MMM), leading indicator, and ROI reads to broader teams, driving data-informed decisions and performance marketing culture.
Data Visualization : Collaborate with IT and brand teams to transform research and data sources into informative dashboards using data visualization tools.
Storytelling with Data : Use data to craft compelling narratives about Unilever performance and the impact of our marketing efforts.
What You’ll Need To Succeed Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of experience in media landscape, digital marketing and performance marketing (CPG a plus!)Knowledge of current research and measurement tools as well as approaches and applications Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, DOMO) Strong understanding of how brands set KPIs and measure success Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to convert complex findings into insightful, concise, and easily digestible e-mails, reports and presentations Ability to manage research & measurement budget and prioritize projects based on team and partner needs Experience interpreting and packaging insights from both syndicated and primary data resources A passion for understanding consumer behavior Able to visualize and tell compelling stories using a range of data sources Ability to learn new tools quickly and often independently with minimal formal training Pay : The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700.
Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
