Job Description

The Director, Finance, Planning and Analysis is responsible Finance responsible for driving financial insights and analysis that supports decision making throughout the Company’s business units and administrative departments. This role manages and oversees the Financial Planning and Analysis team and engages with enterprise executives and key stakeholders to drive annual budgeting and continuous forecasting processes.

The work location for this role is flexible if approved by UniGroup except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado or California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews and challenges key inputs to consolidated budgets, quarterly forecast updates and other financial operating reports and presents findings and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial analysis package, including all necessary statistics concerning business activities
• Oversees the development, recording, analysis, and reporting of financial data each month, drawing the attention of appropriate management to significant variances from planned outcomes
• Owns the coordination of the Company’s Capital Allocation & Accountability Committee and leads senior management through the quarterly review process therein
• Develops the necessary profitability reports in coordination with senior management
• Works closely with various operating groups to manage the overall workflow and staffing assignments to meet corporate and department production objectives
• Oversees the financial administration of agency incentive programs
• Manages operational data and ensures data integrity and accuracy
• Oversees any necessary Information Technology implementation / administration related to financial planning systems
• Leads and directs the work of others

Education, License or Certification:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• Ten or more years of accounting and/or finance experience, preferably within the planning and analysis space, with at least four years in a management capacity
• Experience with Planful preferred
