Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist focuses on building efficiency, creating value, and implementing key strategies to drive the overall effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function with a focus on the project management of processes, tools, and programs. The Operations Specialist will strive for continuous improvement of our practices, staying abreast of external recruiting trends. This role will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Support the development, scope, and execution of critical projects (including ATS upgrades, process maps, job descriptions. interview guides, employment branding, etc.) within talent acquisition and represent TA on broader HR projects.
Engage with key stakeholders to identify business needs, align & refine processes and implement solutions that drive business value
Own and/or support the end-to-end program management of recruitment/development programs – Summer Internship Program (Field/Corporate), Early Talent Programs & internal development programs (Warehouse to Wheels). This includes and is not limited to, program strategy and assessment, candidate or student experience, internal engagement, and program infrastructure.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with high schools, trade schools, colleges and universities, and networks with other professional recruiters and agencies for future sourcing of high-quality candidates. Evaluates strategic relationships and return on investment.
Identify and manage key external partnerships with trusted organizations or entities that support and promote the advancement of traditionally underrepresented groups, eg. HBCUs, HSIs, and nonprofits
Serve as the point person on project development and distribution of branded communications including editorial, print materials and projects, email campaign management, careers page update requests, social media campaigns, and other creative and compelling marketing projects as needed.
Partner with internal communications department to maintain employer profiles on external sites such as Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.
Serve as a trainer for new TA Team Members, support/assist with training & onboarding and lead/participate in on-going development activities.
Manages data integrity within the applicant tracking system, managing candidate’s movement through the recruitment process to minimize time to fill and provide a world-class candidate experience. Recommends, develops, and implements ways to improve upon system processes.
Carry a Req. load as required by business need.
Perform other related assigned duties as necessary.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in lieu of education; high school diploma or GED and 9+ year of related experience
6+ Years of Human Resources or related experience required, with 3 or more of those years in Talent Acquisition
Strong project management skills
Ability to independently prioritize workload and lead multiple projects at once
Strong written and verbal communicator that enjoys creating content, facilitating presentations, training sessions, etc.
Team player with a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude, and innate sense of proactivity
Excellent PowerPoint and analytic skills
Experience working in a fast paced ever changing environment that requires adaptability combined with pragmatism
Self-starter with desire to build new processes and collaboration models
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a role as an HR or TA Project Manager preferred.
