Within CB, Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (“MMBSI”) serves commercial and industrial U.S. clients with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $500 million in approximately 100 offices across the U.S. and Canada.
MMBSI is looking for an experienced individual to join its Finance and Business Management (F&BM) organization as a Business Management Associate, supporting the Healthcare, Higher Ed and Not-for-Profit (HHN) business. The HHN business is a $500MM high growth segment serving non-profit healthcare, higher education, and not for profit clients.
The selected candidate will be a key partner to the business management team and senior leaders in the HHN organization. The candidate will bring a strong understanding of sales and financial operations and an ability to drive strategic dialogue across the organization, inform decision-making, proactively solve problems, and provide analytical insight and business judgment in support of strategic and tactical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supports Business Management team and the HHN business on strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects
Leverages operational experience, data and analytical insights to define overall performance objectives and assist with the development and execution of business and financial plans
Collaborates across finance and business management (F&BM) and other functional areas to understand and communicate results, execute strategic initiatives, and monitor outcomes
Executes portfolio management, segmentation, planning and growth efforts using CRM and other sales enablement tools and processes
Works closely with the financial planning and analytics function to assess business performance, define drivers of outcomes, document areas of opportunity, and execution plans to drive change
Identifies areas for continued process improvement and efficiency by generating innovative ideas and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years of relevant work experience in strategy, financial planning, business management, or sales operations; Financial Services experience is preferred
Strong business management and/or project management experienced preferred
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work with a high degree of independence
Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to execute strategic agenda
Demonstrated acumen and comfort assessing financial performance and navigating large data sets to extract actionable insights
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency in CRM systems
BA / BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
