As we progress on the CCB agility agenda and transformation journey, we are enabling optimization of agile products across the organization through value-added insights to our stakeholders. The Product and Technology CFO organization will partner with business and technology to deliver best-in-class support for three key tenants: Product Finance, Technology Finance, and Portfolio Governance & Business Management.
Job Description
This Associate role is a Financial Analysis position in the Technology Finance pillar, reporting to the Technology Finance lead for Card and Connected Commerce.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Technology Finance lead driving the Product and Technology expense base (both direct and allocated)
Single point-of-contact for integrated product planning, budgeting, governance, and other leadership forums to review performance and drive decisions
Trusted partner for technology leadership and the business in helping drive productivity and efficiency agenda
Establish and drive planning, forecasting, and analysis supporting infrastructure, Fin Ops, and public cloud
Partner to establish and maintain a product P&L while ensuring expense optimization and controls across the portfolio
Provide workforce analytics, headcount and expense management, inclusive of location strategy and expense approvals
Partner with CCB Vendor Management on contract negotiations and third-party expense management
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a high-paced business environment, as well as the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related discipline); MBA Preferred
3-5+ years of progressive experience in finance, technology, consulting, and/or product roles; exposure to Credit Card industry / Digital preferred
Strong mix of analytical, written and presentation skills
Must be able to design business reporting and insights that are clear, concise and actionable
Knowledge of agile product principles, software development, and budget and forecasting is desired
Influencing skills and ability to concisely articulate key insights and recommendations
Experience in interacting and communicating recommendations to senior business leaders
Superior organizational and process skills with a high attention to detail
Proactive – continually drives to understand unique needs of each business and/or program and challenges status quo
Client oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Strong technical ability with Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, PitchPro)
Experience with Business applications such as Essbase strongly preferred while familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, SAP is desired
