Your Responsibilities
As a Parts Marketing Specialist for John Deere Olathe located in Cary, NC, you will…
- Gathers, interprets and integrates data from market research, competitive intelligence, industry associations, suppliers, and sales feedback into recommendations for marketing strategies, pricing and programs.
- Creates and delivers marketing information for use in promotional events and marketing campaigns such as direct mail catalogs, regional shows, product introductions and aftermarket expos.
- Works with factories, suppliers and creative writers to develop and deliver product information and competitive comparisons for use in guides, bulletins and web applications.
- Coordinates development and delivery of training programs, materials, and events for channel partners, customers, and company personnel.

What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of dealers and other channels
- Previous experience working with customers and/or dealers
- Understanding of Dealer and Company parts systems and procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
- 2 or more years of Marketing/Sales experience
- Knowledge of Riding Lawn Equipment, Professional Landscape Contractor and Overall Turf Businesses.
- 1 or more years of experience with Enterprise Customer Acquisitions Process (ECAP)
- Intermediate Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Evidence of curiosity and growth mindset
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Agricultural Business, Business Management
