What you will be doing……
- Overall responsibility for month end close process
- Preparation and compilation of Company financial statements (Operating Company and Investment Company)
- Preparation and monthly updating of consolidated company forecast
- Support the generation of the annual budget and planning process to ensure long term financial and business strategy
- Manage operating company and fund cash balances
- Manage company’s operating line of credit
- Management of discretionary investment funds (accounting, distributions, investor relations administration)
- Primary liaison with tax preparers and company auditors
- Primary liaison with third party fund administration
- Support and assist capital markets teams with deal level and fund level distribution calculations and processing
- Supervise and manage third party JV accountants including JV audits and loan compliance
What you need to bring to the table….
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
- 5-8 years of general accounting and finance experience (real estate or private equity preferred)
- Proficiency in Sage is a huge plus
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
