Our client – an established Food Manufacturer – is going through a major expansion.
They are looking for a Manager Finance (Procurement) for their Northern NJ facility.
The Manager Finance (Procurement) will be responsible for developing the costing methodology for inventory & management cost reporting, ensure the standard costs of raw materials, WIP and finished goods match with current market rates., ensuring the ERP system accurately reflects standard costs, reviewing manufacturing spend and evaluating performance against budget.
They will also be responsible for preparing a monthly management reporting package including KPI analysis to support the organization’s decision-making.
Additionally, they will be responsible for building and maintaining a costing model to support pricing for purchased materials including total delivered costs.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of cost accounting principles as well as experience with budgeting and forecasting.
They should also have strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members in an effective and timely manner.The successful candidate must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this role.
