The IT Systems Analyst – Homeland Security supports large, complex information technology programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team.

The candidate supports Homeland Security clients in requirements, systems analysis, and in improving systems and processes to meet mission needs.
They have directly relevant IT experience that helps them immediately make an impact on the quality of the system and how well it translates into mission results for the client.

Collaborating with homeland security stakeholders and users to analyze their needs Developing a strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements Reengineering business processes and enabling them through information technology Integrating solutions into homeland security environment This role is ideal for someone with 4
years of experience who is mission-focused, has great attention to detail, and continuously likes to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients.

Responsibilities:
Support government internal projects to implement Engineering and Information Technology initiatives Define and assist gathering business and technical requirements to address governmental, policy, third-party, and stakeholder changes and requests Monitor and track compliance with requirements Provide data analytics support and reporting Track and support production-related performance and incidents Support software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop Required

years of experience working on IT projects utilizing an Agile or similar software engineering lifecycle and tools such as Jira Experience supporting and testing cloud-based technology stacks (e.

, AWS, Java, Postgres database, web services, XML, Soap UI) Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment Experience or strong interest in working in a Government, homeland security, and/or law enforcement environment Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred) Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects Clearance:
