The Director in this role will be part of the Global Consumer Services Group Financial Planning and Analysis (GCSG FP&A) team within Corporate Planning & Analysis (CP&A) and will direct the financial planning and analysis activities for the Global Consumer P&L, playing a critical role liaising across the consumer LFO and Corporate Planning organizations to provide comprehensive financial insights and a clear trajectory of the overall business momentum to finance leadership and the consumer business. In addition, this role is responsible for owning and enhancing the planning, results, and analytics leveraging technology tools (Tableau / OBI / Cognos BI) to support emerging data capabilities (Tm1 / Oracle / Cornerstone / IDN). As a critical point of contact across a multitude of stakeholders, this position requires a highly motivated individual with an ability to drive results and work with ambiguity, with a pro-active “can-do” attitude.
This position will lead a team based in NY responsible for the following:
Understanding and communicating key Global Lending, Account and overall P&L trends and how they will impact future performance.
Partner with Corporate Planning Decision Science team, to increase visibility and improve diagnostics associated with key metrics (AR/ADB)
Coordinate planning process for the US business, including the creation of the LRP, annual plan, and rolling outlook.
Produce incisive and valuable performance analysis to Finance leadership on a timely basis, focusing on trends, key business performance, and risks & opportunities
Leverage emerging technology and capabilities to drive improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of planning and results processes
Influencing/partnering with central capabilities teams to continue to drive transformation across the organization.
Proactively monitor changes to the internal and external environment, linking them to financial impacts.
Build, maintain, and leverage excellent relationships with key Finance and Business colleagues.
Coach, mentor, and lead a talented team of colleagues
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Finance, with FP&A experience strongly preferred
MBA of Finance equivalent preferred
Strong knowledge of consumer business, processes, and systems
Track record of building relationships to influence decisions and drive results
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
Adept at interpreting financial information to derive business insights
Ability to synthesize complex data into an easy-to-understand message
Experience with prioritizing multiple requests and managing tight deadlines
Highly motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Strong customer focus with ability to anticipate needs and desire to meet them
Proven people leadership skills demonstrating ability to develop and inspire through coaching and recognition
Knowledge of TM1, Cornerstone/IDN a plus
