We are looking for a well-rounded, meticulous, and analytical Finance professional to play a key role in managing the financial activities of our organization.
WhyteSpyder is a fast-paced company in a high-growth environment and one of Ascential PLC’s dynamic Digital Commerce brands .
This position will report into the Digital Commerce finance organization and will act as the key business partner to the CEO of WhyteSpyder.
Key responsibility of this role will be to enhance and build the budgeting, analysis, and reporting functions of WhyteSpyder and will lead on the migration of WhyteSpyder finance systems onto SAP.
This role will be dedicated to helping WhyteSpyder and its stakeholders make well-informed decisions based on company financial analysis and performance.
Key accountabilities
Financial Planning / Reporting :
o WhyteSpyder
o Ascential
o Act as primary stakeholder for new financial system development and integrations and act as advocate for WhyteSpyder to ensure business goals are met
o Work with SAP migration team to collate and cleanse data in preparation for migration
o Work with central finance function to facilitate the smooth transition of shared service functions to central team, and ongoing liaison to ensure accuracy and review reconciliations
o Month end close / year end close / audit – work with central finance team to resolve any queries to enable their timely closing of ledgers
Client Billing and AR oversight :
o Ensure proper onboarding of clients by central finance team from a billing perspective
o Audit billing and help reconcile any inconsistencies
o Oversee and ensure accuracy of cash allocation by central finance team
o Review and evolve WhyteSpyder billing structure and processes with a view to eventual SAP migration
