About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Analyst to support Expense Analytics and Allocation (EAA).
In this role, you will:
Oversee monthly variance reporting and budget transfers for LOBs (lines of business) and staff groups and act as a key contact for the forecasting/budgeting process
Cost relationship consultant for specific LOB/staff functions
Review actual and forecast results and compare them to budget/prior periods and communicate these to key partners
Participate in functions related to financial research and reporting
Forecast analysis of key metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviews
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities
Research moderate to complex financial data in support of management decision-making for a business
Exercise independent judgment to guide key metrics forecasting, closing data and validation
Present recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
Develop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:

A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people
Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge and understanding of financial allocation and costing systems
Proven self-directed learner with a capacity to learn & excel in new domains/functions
Working knowledge of CVR and/or other Cost Toolsets, and FP&A systems
Prior experience in building financial models including experience analyzing complex costing functions
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Business Partners and Finance areas across Wells Fargo
Ability to translate complex concepts so that they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions
