Our ultimate objective is to drive consumer demand, visitation and revenue goals for the Walt Disney World Resort. The Marketing Strategy team achieves this goal by developing strategies and communication plans to reach and influence the consumer mindset and behavior including desire to take a Disney vacation, visit during a specific season, reach a special consumer segment, stay in a Walt Disney World Resort, and purchase a Walt Disney World ticket.
As a Marketing Strategy Associate with the Walt Disney World Resort, you will help manage the strategies and communication plan execution to help drive annual revenue and attendance goals. Important responsibilities will include supporting the Marketing Strategy Managers by building and executing integrated communication plans, evaluating campaign creative, monitoring and analyzing business performance and other key projects as assigned.
You Will:
- Be an integral member of the marketing strategy team, developing roadmaps and integrated communication plans throughout the year
- Develop and maintain strategic input and documents for internal and partner use. Be a necessary integrator and consolidator within the marketing team
- Assist in evaluating campaign creative by providing insightful feedback to ensure relevant and engaging execution
- Develop After Action Reports through research and analysis including measurements, results and actionable insights
- Provide daily assistance across multiple projects, initiatives, and tactical needs with the ability to quickly flex and take on new projects within varying stages of planning and implementation
- Lead website updates to ensure positioning and priorities align with park needs
- Assist partners with approvals and serve as subject matter expert for Disney marketing guidelines including photo usage, nomenclature, and trademark rules
- Manage budgets, ensuring dollars are maximized and optimized
You Have:
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience working with multiple marketing platforms including: website, social media, print, digital media, CRM, outdoor and collateral
- Demonstrated marketing skills to develop strategic input, business cases and marketing communication plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation development
- Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods (CPG), advertising agency or brand management
- Experience with National level campaigns, product development and new product launches
- Previous experience marketing entertainment brands or experiences
- Work with multicultural and diverse audiences
- Experience leading and implementing strategic roadmaps
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Equivalent
