Provide leadership and coordination of financial accounting and reporting to client.
Transaction processing, recording, reporting, analysis and forecasting.
Establishes and coordinates the accounting function calendar of recurring events and processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of reports.
Prepares and/or directs the preparation of monthly financial statement package, journal entries, account reconciliation and verification of computerized interface entries (e.g., accounts payable, cash disbursements, etc.).
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
Continuously seeks opportunities for cost savings and productivity/procedural improvements.
Perform/Oversee outsourced accounting services.
Trains staff in essential technical accounting, technology and communication skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
Five to seven years of accounting experience
