Summary

The Four M family of businesses, a leading independent manufacturer and marketer of corrugated packaging and displays, is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to join our senior leadership team and support the strategic vision and dramatic growth of the business.

The Director of Finance and Administration will be a strategic thought partner reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, administration, and IT.

The Director of Finance and Administration will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision-making and operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting including internal financials, bank reporting and covenant compliance, and other 3rdparty reviews and audits.
• Annual and other periodic budgeting and forecasting, monthly financial reports and key performance indicators, bank compliance certificates, borrowing base submissions, bank collateral audits, and annual 3rdparty audits
• Manage internal controls to ensure proper and effective tax planning, reporting, and overall compliance with local governmental authorities and agencies

• Direct and guide accounting teams on consistency of reporting, accounting procedures, policies, and adherence to GAAP and accounting standards.
• Must be able to effectively train and manage a team of accountants and clerical support roles in various locations across the country – this includes periodic travel requirements

• Own the cash management and stewardship of the balance sheet – drive working capital efficiencies, liquidity, and capital allocations
• Lead the relationships with capital partners including banks, equipment lessors, government agencies, and shareholders (including direct management of company stock option plans and shareholder registers)
• Fluent within the capital markets and experienced in raising and sourcing new capital and funding sources.

• Oversee risk management and commercial insurance policies, coverages, reporting, and renewals
• Direct information technology strategy and oversee the maintenance of infrastructure including oversight of software, hardware, and managed services. Drive cyber security procedures and policies.
• Partner with the human resources department on employment matters including payroll, partnerships with labor unions, recruiting, managing health and wellness plans, retirement benefits, and other employee entitlements (e.g., FMLA). Responsible for fiduciary roles within corporate governance and various benefit plans
• Work with legal advisors on various matters including corporate governance, compliance, and other contractual matters (credit agreements, unions, leases, etc.)

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree with a business or financial focus
• Minimum 10 years experience in managing finance or accounting operations
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or related work environment
• Proven ability to generate and analyze timely and accurate financial statements and other financial reports.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to Four M’s Mission.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word & MS Excel required) including accounting systems

Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:

• CPA
• Undergraduate or graduate degrees in Accounting/Finance
• Experience in the corrugated industry or packaging Industry more broadly.
• Experience in benefits administration, insurance, etc.
• Experience managing relationships with IT vendors; knowledge of accounting and reporting software

Work Location:

This position is located at our Tullahoma, TN point of Purchase Display facility.

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
