Thread FX is actively seeking an experienced, team oriented, hands-on General Manager to join our team. You will be leading our production, shipping and receiving, and customer service departments; will report directly to the company CEO; and be a member of the senior leadership team. Duties will include overseeing the following: order processing, full scale production, receiving and shipping of all products, warehouse management, and safety training and implementation. A successful candidate in this position must be willing to work in fast paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and able to provide skilled “on-the-floor” decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, training and evaluation of lead, and non-supervisory production personnel
· Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Directs, plans, assigns, and monitors production department operations and activities to achieve schedule attainment, productivity and efficiency, and departmental expense goals
· Interview and hire personnel; plan, assist, and direct work; appraise performance; discipline personnel, address complaints, and resolve problems
· Set and communicate production priorities to all production departments and personnel
· Assign all personnel to specifics tasks on a daily basis, and on occasions multiple times within the day
· Define all processes within the production and warehouse departments
· Define, implement, and maintain process control points to ensure both quality and productivity requirements are being monitored
· Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations
· Interpret printing specifications of orders and assign to production personnel
· Inspect and approve set-ups; continually monitor production operations including color reproduction, registration, and imprint quality
· Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and imprint quality
· Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
· Accountable for adherence to standard maintenance programs on all production equipment as required
· Performs other duties as assigned by CEO

· Strong skills in work planning and job scheduling, and must have good judgment of color, design, and printing quality
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and employees
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Physical demands of the position require someone to frequently be able to: stand, walk, lift up to 40 lb boxes and lift, bend, push and pull
EXPERIENCE:
· 5+ years of embroidery and screen-printing production management experience (Required)
· 10+ years of hands-on experience in a soft goods decoration production facility (Required)
· Working knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems – preferred, not required
COMPENSATION:
· Depends on previous work experience- ranging from $100,000 – $150,000
