Ensures the development of accurate financial plans by effective planning, monitoring, and problem solving. Consults with management to coordinate the planning process, understand business drivers of financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement, and create relevant management exhibits.
Manages highly complex ad hoc and on-going financial forecasts and models that assist the business in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to senior management.
Oversees the production of complex management reports and associated analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the business. Provides sound financial advice to business units or other departments, anticipating the financial impact of changes in the business environment and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Understands the interdependencies of financial systems, recommending and implementing enhancements and planning appropriately for changes.
Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting). CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of finance experience.
Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results.
Must possess the ability to collaborate with peers across the organization to gain support for ideas and execute on projects that deliver value to customers.
Comfortable leading meetings, making strategic recommendations to senior management and giving presentations to increasingly large audiences.
Ability to independently manage and/or execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Driven and flexible enough to succeed in ambiguous and less structured situations.
Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational drivers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings, as well as proven ability to effectively present technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Highly analytical, detail oriented with advanced reporting skills
Proven track record of process improvement.
Advanced understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods preferred
