Temper Axle Products Corp Hiring for Finance and Operations Manager Job at Fonda, NY Full Time

Temper Companies is searching for a highly qualified Finance and Operations Manager to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the CEO, and work closely with our team of Directors. This role will have an immediate impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, and communicating objectives between departments. This is a critical role that will help enable communication, collaboration, and strategy execution across the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will drive strategic initiatives on behalf of the CEO and Directors, and will plan and direct administrative and operational activities for the them. Applicants should have proven experience in a business management role or in an entrepreneurial role or company.
Duties will include:

• Working closely with the CEO to reach company goals
• Providing oversight and guidance to CEO, providing workflows and communication flows
• Aid in and ensure the timely completion of projects
• Facilitate meetings, organize agendas, meeting materials, and follow-ups for the CEO and Directors
• Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of the CEO and Directors
• Preparing financial reports and producing activity statements and monitor accounts
• Providing advice on company financial and investment decisions
• Analyzing company data and market trends to make financial predictions and maximize profits
• Managing company budgets
• Producing long term business plans based on company data
• Implementing reporting processes to minimize financial risk
• Ensuring all investment and financial activities are compliant with industry laws
• Overseeing all administrative functions for the companies
• Overseeing the work of all administrative employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards
• Counseling any employees struggling in their roles
• Performing all bookkeeping functions for the companies using QuickBooks
• Overseeing all purchasing for the companies
• Ensuring that all administrative staff follow ISO 9001:2015 and basic business standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, or an Associates Degree with comparable work experience
• Experience with data analysis, and breaking down complex business problems
• Demonstrated organizational leadership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate with and influence teams with a focus on developing creative solutions
• Ability to operate with high urgency, adaptability, and clarity of thought in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
• Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
• Must be highly detail oriented and able to multi-task in a dynamic office environment
• Outstanding organization skills
• Leadership ability
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, occasional weekends when needed
Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 based on experience
