More than 150 million monthly active players More than 120 million fans on Facebook Content translated into more than 40 different languages ResponsibilitiesBecome a part of the team as a Trending News Editor (m/f/d) on a remote and freelance basis, and take the following responsibilities Edit and write English high-quality content and articles, in positive language and wording Research and identify stories in the field of human interest, lifestyle, celebrity news and other positive and emotional trends and topics Monitor and analyse the reach of your content, using performance data and our internal KPIs, to derive and discover (viral) trends, stories and future content ideas Report on stories and events, and conduct interviews where needed, and monitor our internal research tools and Social Media channels to ensure a timely breaking news coverage Verify and factcheck the validity of your stories, events, and content in general Become part of a global editorial team, covering different time zones and a multitude of backgrounds, and join the full editorial process to ensure 24/7 content production as a team Requirements Strong experience in Journalism, e.

university degree in Journalism or similar Strong experience in writing and editing online content, such as online magazines, news agencies, blogs, or similar Strong experience in the field of Social Media content, especially Facebook Ability to deliver high quality content under tight deadline pressure Basic image editing skills, utilizing e.
