We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and highly motivated professional to support the financial reporting and controlling of the North American business. The North American business is expansive and diverse, and this position provides the opportunity to engage in a complex set of financial topics as well as gain an understanding of the business operations with a focus on the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Relocation may be offered for this role should it be necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The person in this role will have the overall responsibility for the ON NA Balance Sheet & Cash flow overview; including but not limited to the following topics:
Detailed involvement in monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting / planning processes
Analyzing, consolidating, and reporting forecast and actual for the legal entity and market segment On Shore North America to various stakeholders
Develop and prepare monthly or ad-hoc presentations/reporting packages for Executive Management
Support the monthly and quarterly close cycle including external/internal auditor requirements
Develop and enhance department processes for timely and accurate data production
Prepare and communicate with management and other internal customers on presentations and other reporting matters as required
Work directly with the global ON community to align processes, content, deliver reporting & clarifications, and support the overall goals of transparent and accurate information
The Onshore Business Controlling team for Siemens Gamesa North America (NA) is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on the financial business and performance of Onshore Wind Power
Required Skills and Competencies:
Minimum of 7 to 10+ years related experience in various financial reporting functions
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other applicable field (or equivalent experience)
Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
Strong financial management, analysis, reporting and controlling skills
Creative and independent thinker with the ability to interact with all levels of management and departments within the organization while taking a hands-on approach to problem solving
Must be able to effectively prioritize, manage deadlines, and multi-task
Advanced proficiency in MS office (including Think-Cell and complex excel formulas)
Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO and Master Data)
Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing demands and handle time pressure
Knowledge and understanding of business, operational, and organizational acumen
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various global and legal entity management and staff
