Job Description
This is a great opportunity to join a passionate sales team in a high-growth, thought leadership organization driving change in the Fortune 1000 through our direct Enterprise and Partner channel market model. We are expanding and adding to our successful sales team.
The Account Executive will have responsibility for the full sales process (Prospect to Close) as well as customer support and retention. This is a sales role selling our Enterprise Product offerings, in addition to supporting Scaled Agile to evolve its strategy for bringing solutions to market.
This Western US-based role will drive prospects and customers to optimal outcomes from SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), the growing community and portfolio of training, and collaborative software offerings as customers transform their organizations. You will be responsible for cultivating meaningful, lasting relationships with the entire value chain of our customers, ranging from developers to executives.
What you’ll be doing:
Prospect and identify target organizations to drive additional revenue and customer success strategies within the context of their Lean-Agile business transformations
Initiate, develop and grow business decision-maker relationships within target client organizations
Work collaboratively with a passionate go to market team to ensure your territory of large Enterprises is thriving, growing and renewing
Work internally to help Scaled Agile evolve our solution offerings to help us take the business to a new level
Initiate and support marketing initiatives that align with agile industry events, meetups, and conferences, promoting enhanced SAFe brand awareness.
Available to travel but the majority of your outreach and connection with clients will happen from your home office.
This position will be based out of your home office with easy access to an airport preferred.
Qualifications
Successful sales experience in complex Enterprise sales environments, ideally leading complex technology and services sales
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets with a solution-focused approach
Experience working with a partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth in customers
A strong understanding of selling transformational and Organizational Change Management services
Experience with Agile and the ability to position the benefits of SAFe to customers.
Ability to produce tactical account plans which demonstrate a strategic approach to account growth
Knowledge of Enterprise sales methodologies

Additional Information
Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings for this role is $150-170K, 50% is base salary and 50% variable. Salary will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Ultimately, OTE is available to employees who implement sales best practices and collaborate with Scaled Agile teammates.
Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, optional insurance products including identity protection and pet insurance, 401K with a match, flexible paid time off, company paid sabbatical after six years of service, bonus plan, and equity options.
