SUMMARY
The Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) manages the human resource function for the store operations in an assigned region. We are a multi unit franchise with over 120 stores in retail and American-based chain of restaurants. The Regional Human Resources Leader is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: employee relations, training and development, Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with recruiting, retention, performance reviews and workers compensaiton. The RHRM consults with and advises multi-level store operations managers to ensure all qualitative measures of people management are met.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The RHRM must be an effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision making ability, results driven, self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, while maintaining confidentiality. The RHRM must have the ability to excel in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. RHRM must have the ability to maintain a positive environment that attracts, develops and engages employees. Quarterly travel to off site stores in California.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Execute HR plans and strategies to accomplish business objectives. Ensure that human resource services are value added, effective and consistent with, store and districts, business and strategic objectives.
Partner with talent acquisition initiatives and support recruiting throughout the region.
Monitors and assists in managing activities related to Risk & Safety Management.
Ensures all managers follow company policies, accident procedures, and loss prevention procedures.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at the federal, state and local levels
Monitors and interprets HR key performance indicators (KPIs), P & L’s, targets.
Investigates complaints and concerns in a timely manner
Conduct store/location talent reviews
Partner with HR Director on rollouts of HR initiatives for the regions
Partner with Store Senior Managers to continuously monitor and improve the associate experience.
Coach managers on performance management
Stay updated on company, HR and centralized support developments and best practices and implement in stores/locations
Build and maintain strong effective partnerships with management teams and develop a position of influence to maintain the valued culture
Establish and maintain trust with associates at all levels of the organization.
Participate in and/or manage various projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent years of experience
5 plus experience in multi-unit/ field HR management, retail industry
Current Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM Certification preferred but not required
Established coaching, training, customer service and communication skills
Demonstrates ability to assess and develop talent
Established time management, prioritization, delegation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrates ability to motivate and lead functional teams to deliver results
