Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a FP& A Manager. The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. How you will make an impact
Engage with staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
Support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team
Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
Provide support for regulatory filings
Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts
Analyze budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Work in cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues
Support financial deliverables to the executive team
Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis
Perform financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions
Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
Requirements
Superb qualitative and quantitative skills
Capable of analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
5+ years of experience in FP& A required
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
Previous experience with computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
Must have high business acumen
