Description Robert Half is looking for a FP& A Manager to join our client! The FP& A Manager must have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. What you get to do every single day
Provide key financial analysis to inform both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Engage with staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Help with financial deliverables to the executive team
Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team
Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans
Help with regulatory filings
Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis
Execute financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions
Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues Requirements – Skilled in building relationships and communication
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Complex problem solving skills are a must. Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Superb qualitative and quantitative skills
High level of business acumen
Previous experience with computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
8+ years of experience in FP& A required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
