Description Robert Half is looking for a project professional for an interim opportunity as a Finance Manager.Join our team on a contract basis, where you will be working closely with management in various business groups to provide the required financial information, analysis, and advice in order to make financially sound decisions. In addition, the Finance Manager will be tasked with the responsibility of articulating the financial results at the end of each reporting period and for each planning cycle.
Major responsibilities
Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modelling accuracy
Leverage financial systems and BI tools to institute and automate reports
Collaborate with business unit leaders for the completeness and accuracy of the material inputs to the company financial model and overall business strategy
Develop strong partnerships with leaders across the organization
Collaborate with the accounting team to establish processes and improve close cycle times and reduce errors
Oversee and coordinate the reforecast processes and the annual/quarterly/monthly budget
Assemble findings, recommendations, and reporting for executive-level management
Manage the preparation of materials related to detailed business unit projections and highlight risks/opportunities Requirements – 2+ years of people development and leadership experience
Advanced MS Excel skills required, including financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
Previous experience with accounting systems and budgetary software
CPA designation or MBA preferred
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively and clearly in a fast-changing environment
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a FP& A capacity
Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and accounting implications
