Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join our client! The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. How you will make an impact
Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff
Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
Manage the preparation of all financial reports
Manage daily operations of the finance and accounting department
Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
Establish short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models
Take ownership of insurance and risk management
Analyze monthly operating performance against budget
Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions
The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 + discretionary bonus.

Prior experience with finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems
Extremely detailed and analytical
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
10+ years of finance and accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
MBA or CPA is preferred
