DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL REPORTING ** NASHVILLE, TN

REMOTE-HYBRID ROLE

$125K – $150K + OUTSTANDING BENEFITS + BONUS + UNLIMITED GROWTH

The Director of Financial Reporting (DFR) will be responsible for the management and oversight of monthly/quarterly/annual external Corporate reporting process. Responsibilities also include judgmental reserves such as IBNR, workers’ comp, malpractice also researching and implementing technical accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement reporting requirements to include consolidated bridges and dashboards
• Prepare, review and submit external monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, forms, disclosures, statements and reports to Joint Venture Partners as well as consolidated financial statements
• Compile and explain consolidated bridges for financial results and provide high level commentary to present to Executive Management
• Collaborate with actuaries to analyze and record complex judgmental reserves to include health IBNR, malpractice insurance and workers’ comp.
• Review Internal Executive Management statements to ensure complete and accurate
• Review of quarterly balance sheet, providing explanation of variances to various metrics
• Provide new acquisition technical guidance regarding consolidation impact; specifically ASC 810: Consolidations
• Provide oversight of all technical accounting functions and provide recommendations to Executive Management providing implementation guidelines
• Preparation of all Corporate entity’s cash flow statements and provide required documentation
• Provide US GAAP interpretations, prepare technical memorandums, documenting issues clearly and provide implementation recommendations
• Partner with Accounting team to provide support and review of period close processes
• Collaborate with all Corporate Departmental Management to ensure current reporting tools support internal reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA in good standing a MUST
• Minimum of 10 years public and/or accounting experience
• Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
• Adept in complex, matrix and fast-paced setting
• Highly skilled with audit management
• Ability to acclimate quickly and step into role
• Proficient in technical accounting; Strong MS Excel and ERP skills
• Healthcare experience preferred
