Job Title: Finance Manager: US Operational Finance
Position Summary:
Finance Manager provides financial leadership, business consultation, analytical and decision support to the company’s field operations. This role will be a part of the finance business partner team dedicated to our Randstad Technologies business. This role will directly advise operations, field teams & executive leadership teams to develop and implement concepts related to financial performance, operational KPIs and strategic planning to drive business results.
The right candidate will need strong critical thinking skills to successfully operate in an entrepreneurial environment. The role requires building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams. Additionally, understanding the industry, macro-economic trends & competitor landscape to support business strategy is essential in this role. Candidate needs the ability to listen, interpret, influence, negotiate, inspire and challenge assumptions to be effective in the role.
This position reports to the Director, Finance partnering with Randstad Technologies.
Position Responsibilities:
Business steering with operations and field organization.
Monthly & quarterly business reviews and associated reporting & analysis.
Analyze results to identify key growth drivers and trends, track actual results vs. budget.
Monitor and report on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity.
Financial & strategic initiative support for the Senior Management team.
Analysis and presentation on client performance, geographic performance and pricing success.
Be the financial advisor for operating business.
Various ad-hoc financial analytics and projects.
Job Specifications
Core requirements
Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, ability to innovatively communicate complex information to c-suite.
Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
Comfortable working with risk and ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, providing meaningful insights that are impactful.
Strong relationship building with teams across the breadth of organization.
Advanced Excel skills / Financial modeling.
In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principals, and financial analysis.
Utilizing data analytics and BI platforms, Tableau a plus.
Experience with project management.
Minimum Education & Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Master’s degree, MBA and/or additional business accreditation preferred.
5+ years experience in a senior finance position.
