Job Description
In a manner consistent with PLACES core values, safeguard PLACES assets and finances. Provide an accurate and timely representation of PLACES’ financial position, maintain PLACES’ financial records, and participate in the financial management of the corporation. Provide supervision to the Accounting Assistant/Grant Manager and the Billing Specialist.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting
Five years paid work experience in not for profit accounting
Two years of supervisory experience
Excellent skills with computer applications for accounting ie., Sage, Excel, etc
Experience with financial grant management
and government grant/fund accounting
Insurable under PLACES auto insurance
Valid driver s license
Insured personal vehicle
Good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting
CFO experience in not-for-profit
Electronic Health Records
Behavioral Health Medicaid billing experience
