We have been retained to find a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in the Financial District of New York City. This role reports directly to the CFO and has significant visibility to the CEO, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors.
Are you ready to take on a finance role that will challenge you, inspire you, and reward you? Do you want to join a fast-growing, consumer-centric company that has ambitious plans to become a public company in the future? Do you have the skills, experience, and passion to lead a high-performing finance team and drive strategic and operational excellence across the organization? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Our client is an industry leader with multiple locations and a central home office in Manhattan. The company is similar to facilities services, hospitality, retail, and professional services companies. They have annual revenues of less than $350 million and a vision to grow into a multi-billion-dollar company by expanding nationally, offering additional services, and creating rewarding career opportunities across the country. They have a culture of high work ethic, data-driven decision making, curiosity, accountability, and low ego.
They are looking for an FP&A Director with both public and private experience who’s willing to begin in this role with a lean, scrappy, and motivated team. Someone who can help them achieve their next level of growth, oversee and improve budgeting and forecasting processes, and prepare them for an eventual IPO.
We are specifically seeking a senior-level talented finance leader who exhibits ownership, sense or urgency, curiosity in and commitment to the business priorities, and a leadership mindset rather than simply being task-driven. This isn’t just a reporting role: they want you involved in the business strategy, understanding “why” behind growth, and digging into how the company wins.
Strong preference for experience within multi-site facilities services, retail, hospitality, restaurant, casino/gaming, or consumer services companies (not banking or financial services).
Qualifications
Our client is an equal opportunity employer, and they embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion in their workforce.
To protect our client’s confidentiality, we will only disclose the organization’s identity to shortlisted candidates. A signed Confidentiality Agreement will be required prior to disclosing company details. Then on our first call we will share all information about the company and opportunity with you.
US Citizens or green card holders only. No visa sponsorship available for this position.
