Job Description:
The Corporate Finance & Strategy team serves as a trusted advisor to the company, informing and guiding critical C-level decisions through insightful analyses & thought partnership. We are looking for a bright, driven individual who will succeed in a fast-paced environment and support our team in making sound recommendations that will allow the company to scale as we propel the business now from a Billion revenue to the Multi-Billion era.
In this central role you will collaborate across all of our Finance & Strategy functional teams to analyze, influence, and present Expense & Headcount planning to the executive team. In addition to helping us manage our monthly forecasting process, you will have the opportunity to take on high-profile strategic projects for the CFO, SVP of Finance, and other key decision-makers that impact our personnel investments. We are a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately. This team has a track record of growing and launching some of our most promising finance talent.
Responsibilities:
Support our monthly Expense consolidation & Headcount alignment processes – analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key trends, and communicate risks & opportunities to influence business outcomes.
Coordinate across our Finance & Strategy teams to review and influence the key personnel & program expense and headcount assumptions driving our budgets, forecasts, and other predictors of future results. Assess forecasts to ensure accuracy, reasonableness, feasibility, and credibility.
Collaborate with our People Ops and Talent Acquisition teams on forecasting for and testing our thinking on recruiting capacity, building company-wide vacancy forecasting, and personnel spend drivers.
Reinvent monthly & quarterly Headcount management reporting including but not limited to budget vs forecast, dashboards, and Board materials.
Explore investment opportunities to support company-wide strategic initiatives with appropriate staffing. Support leadership in making strategic tradeoffs in regards to expense & headcount decisions.
Implement improvements & automation to streamline current processes
Tackle new & evolving priorities for the team, including ad hoc analyses
Requirements:
5+ years experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, private equity, business operations, or sales operations
Experience with financial modeling and analytical mindset / working with data required
Positive attitude with high aptitude to learn new things quickly. Team player eager to further develop and grow with us
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and hunger to continually up-level current approaches and processes
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail – “get it done” attitude
Highly adept in Excel. Working knowledge of SQL, Netsuite, Workday, Adaptive, or other planning tools a plus
