We are a small surgery clinic with approximately 25 employees in San Jose near Santana Row, who is looking for an experienced Admin/ bookkeeper with minimum 3 years of experience, solid knowledge of accounting principles to run our small office to perform professional level accounting work in an independent and flexible environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payables and receivables, general ledger/journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations. Other office duties include processing Payroll, dealing with vendors, coordinate and make banking deposits. Manage 571L, 1099 reporting and Work Compensation audits, maintain and manage health benefits and 401K benefits,
Maintain and manage business liability, workers compensation, bond insurance, EPL insurance.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills is required to excel in our fast-paced work environment.

Duties And Responsibilities
The responsibilities include monthly closings, maintenance of accounting files and preparation and organization of various financial forms, reports, and financial analysis.
Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision.
Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook applications as well as financial accounting software (QBO).
Required Skills and Education:
Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online
3+ years of Bookkeeping experience is preferred.
BA or Associate’s or Certification in Accounting is preferred
Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be accurate and detail oriented
Must have strong problem-solving skills
