We are looking for a Director of Finance to lead the Finance team and support the growth and future of the Company, while driving the Company’s financial integrity. The Director of Finance reports to and partners with the President to set financial policy and direction while also being an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy. You will be responsible for generating, maintaining, reviewing financial administration, business planning, and budgeting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Finance Department (of 5) responsible for all Company’s finance functions
Ensure that company is in full-compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (internal and SEC) for ESCO
Generate internal financial reports and review financial performance against stated objectives
Analyze, structure, and document capital investments, including acquisitions
Analyze business operations and costs to optimize performance
Lead analysis and evaluation of sales contract opportunities with the estimating team
Prepare and deliver effective presentations to employees, top management and public groups
Represent Company to outside auditing firms or consultants
Stays current on relevant financial and legal laws
Respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, corporate, or members of the business community
Serve as an Empowered Official for export control compliance
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
Organizes and oversees schedules and work of assigned staff
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with Company policy
Ability to coach and mentor team members

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) from an accredited institution
Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years experience as a successful financial leader with business acumen and the proven ability to manage organizational developments
Preferred Education and Experience:
MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Ten (10) years of experience within manufacturing industry
Ten (10) years of experience working for publicly-traded company
Additional eligibility qualifications:
Must have an acceptable credit history check
Must have an acceptable criminal history background check
Must pass a drug test
