The Job:
Our America Finance is looking for an Accountant to work from our Global Headquarter Office in Texas! This person will work a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in the ABS Headquartered Office located in Spring, Texas and two (2) days being remote-work days.
What You’ll Do:
Prepares balance sheets, profit/loss statements and other financial reports. Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization’s finances to management and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Other Tasks:
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations monthly, quarterly, or annually, varies by account.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multi-currencies bank accounts.
Research and work with AP/AR to solve the pending items of the reconciliations monthly, varies by account.
Prepare journals for payroll, depreciation, and non-reoccurring entries.
Preparation and Calculation of Cost-Plus Entries monthly.
Assist in the preparation of the year-end audit schedules.
Provide assistance/guidance to the junior accounting staff and/or outsourced junior staff.
Perform monthly GL close functions.
Assist with gathering information for field work during Statutory audits.
Perform Consolidated Ledger Revaluation and effects adjustments in the automatic accounting system.
Assist in budget development process as well as monitoring and updating monthly forecast.
Assist in preparation work for field audits and answer auditors’ queries on statutory and management accounts.
Special projects as assigned by Finance Director or Manager.

Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly to a Manager or Director level position or higher.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily sedentary; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
