Kovo HC Looking for Accounts Payable Manager at Remote Full Time

This is an exciting position with a growing organization. The position is remote, and we prefer applicants in Toronto Canada or in the Eastern Standard Time Zone of the US.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met.
• Process invoices daily, in a multi-subsidiary/ multi-currency environment
• Record all entries related to payables and expenses daily into the correct subsidiary and GL accounts
• Process scheduled payments via online banking EFT, wire, or ACH, for approval by Controller and VP Finance
• Follow-up and resolve issues originating from accounts payable queries and escalate as needed
• Manage the accounts payable month-end closing process, including the accrual of expenses, reconciliation and analysis

· ·Assist with the weekly, monthly and annual banking activities

• Design, implement, and operate an efficient payables process ensuring internal controls are in place, and financial policies are adhered to
• Review and produce period end variance analysis reports and commentary for management
• Recommend new procedures, instructions and system modifications to improve the efficiency, timeliness, accuracy and completeness of financial accounting practices
• Timely reporting and maintenance of HST/GST and sales tax by province/state

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• University degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, or business preferred
• 1+ years of experience working with NetSuite as ERP, in a multi-entity organization

• Highly organized, detail oriented, and accurate: able to prioritize, work well and thrive under pressure while producing high quality deliverables
• Strong oral and written communication skills: interacts clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Team player and flexible: understands the importance of ‘pitching in’ and able to deal with quickly changing priorities in a positive, productive manner
