Kohler Co is driving a digital transformation to fuel growth through an increasing focus on new digital business models and capabilities. This position will play a key role in accelerating Kohler’s journey by leading the delivery of SAP Finance and related applications that are critical for enabling business growth and gracious customer experiences. This manager will work closely with senior business leaders, business solutions managers (BRMs), Global Shared Services and other IT counterparts to create and align on technology strategies, roadmaps and project plans.
This position is responsible for managing a team to deliver and evolving global Finance solutions and providing ongoing support to sustain and enhance the solutions. This includes developing standard systems, processes and defending consistent application of these standards across business units. This position is also responsible for the performance management and direct supervision of a diverse, global team of architects, analysts, and 3rd party partners.
The successful candidate will be a passionate people leader, strategic thinker and a change agent, able to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization. The ability to rapidly understand and influence capability roadmaps and lead resources to deliver capabilities are critical to success. Must be capable of directing and supervising a wide range of activities covering multiple concurrent projects and interfacing with personnel and leaders from all regions and business units.
Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for the Finance including but not limited to SAP and other related solutions, along with integration to other applications. Focus areas include procure to pay functions, financial planning & reporting, asset and project accounting, accounts payable, receivable and credit management, as well as cost accounting, and tax reporting.
Lead the creation of solution strategies and proposals and/or evaluate the credibility of solutions and cost estimates developed by partners.
Investigate and evaluate improved methods, procedures, software and equipment to enhance all functional responsibilities.
Develop, control and adhere to systems methodologies, standards and procedures, including the review, critique and approval of systems specifications.
Working with IT program management to provide resource requirements and staffing for major business systems projects and process improvement initiatives.
Provide positive motivational leadership of staff along with developing the staff’s technical, engagement and problem-solving skills required to meet the continuing needs of current and new technologies.
Lead the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of staff and staff augmentation, along with the associated onboarding and ramp up plans.
Tracks progress against the strategy and roadmap, intervening where required to ensure delivery of the business projects and results.
Strong awareness of privacy and data security regulations & considerations, and works with data & analytics, security, and privacy teams to ensure that all solutions are compliant.
Builds knowledge of what is coming next, through external networks, contacts, and partnerships. Understand the changing competitive, consumer, and technology landscape and identifies opportunities to bring new tools, concepts, and approaches.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required. Masters / MBA desirable. Minimum of 7 years of experience.
Experience with managing and mentoring teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on business and technology related subject matter, including storytelling and making the complex simple.
Demonstrated track record of partnering with business stakeholders and handling multiple complex transformation projects and delivering results.

The salary range for this position is $125,700 – $160,600. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
