As a Senior Underwriter in the he CCBSI FIG – Diversified Finance Team you are responsible for the credit risk management of a portfolio of companies which operate in the following financial sectors: asset management, private equity, payments, sustainable finance, exchanges, lender finance, and other financial services. These companies are active users of traditional commercial banking services and investment banking products.
The Senior Underwriter is the primary credit risk manager for a portfolio of Diversified Finance clients and is an instrumental member of the Risk Management team. In this capacity, the Senior Underwriter works in partnership with coverage banking, treasury services, syndications, and other product partners to analyze and approve credit requests, structure credit facilities, risk grade borrowers, and negotiate credit agreements and other loan and trading documentation. The Senior Underwriter is also responsible for on-going monitoring and risk management of their portfolio. To be successful, you need to develop a broad and deep understanding of the business, financial, competitive, and industry risks faced by clients in the assigned portfolio. This is a national portfolio of clients, thus travel will be required from time to time.
