PRODUCTION MANAGER
Joo Kno how to tell a story? We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to help create compelling media and manage the production process.
The Production Manager’s primary role is to conceptualize and coordinate all the elements of the production. The candidate must be self-motivated, well-organized, and have experience managing the production process and client communications. The candidate will work with the Executive Producer to brainstorm projects and determine scope of responsibilities, since each project is unique and dynamic.
Various responsibilities and accountabilities include:
Planning – develop production plan and other necessary documents for the project based on predesigned formats.
Storyboarding – outline basic story arch with supporting assets and design elements in a predesigned scripted format.
Scouting – research and secure filming locations and permits as needed.
Crew – research and review reels for new crew members to hire for remote projects where we have no existing relationships.
Scheduling – create shoot schedule(s) crew and talent.
Assets – work with client to identify, locate, and collect essential client assets including logos, brand guidelines, fonts, photos, etc.
Stock – research and discover a variety of video, audio, and motion graphic stock options for projects and pitch schemes/ideas to team.
Voiceover – audition voice artist options for narration as needed.
Edit – create rough edits of storyline in Premier for client approval before hand-off to our post-production team.
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in production
– Facility with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Drive
– Enthusiasm with a desire to learn and grow as you go
– Ability to be deadline driven, produce virtually, and work flexibly
Weekly compensation commensurate with experience and workload
Start date estimated at September 15, 2022
