GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE This position is a unique blend of Finance and Accounting with an expectation that this role is filled by a dynamic leader able to manage the aggregate finance and accounting function of an active land acquisition and development company. The position requires industry experience in land development and/or construction real estate. The responsibilities for this position include maintaining financial records for land holding, land development and related companies, reviewing prepared bank draw packages, analyzing underwriting/proforma models, projecting investment returns and presenting results to investors/owners. The ideal candidate has a desire to quickly advance their knowledge and understanding of the real estate investment/development market. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university. Masterxe2x80x99s Degree and/or Active CPA a plus. Five + yearsxe2x80x99 experience with evidence of continued professional growth. Public accounting experience preferred.
