THE COMPANY:
As a Manager of Cloud Data Platform Engineering, you will work with a dynamic team to advance Enterprise Data Platforms across the company.
This company makes medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods. It is a multinational company that is looking to have someone deliver roadmaps and strategies for cloud application solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
This team is specifically involved in the financial systems for planning budgeting analysis, and executive analysis. They are rolling out the application to several diff business segments- has rolled out almost completely to the pharma unit and they have a 2nd revision in the process to the Vision segment and Medtech is next
Data process owners – data design. They help teams figure out where the data is coming from and help pass it back to the team. They are traffic cops to understand where it’s coming from and how it flows
The direct team will work day to day with the following below:
Business process owner, technical process owner, data hub team(delivery and build), technical design team, functional design team, SMEs across the org
Projects will be working with 10-15 people, a variety of subjects
2 other peers (manager level)
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, Major in Finance or IT is preferred
5 years of working experience is required
A minimum of 5 years of relational database management/data model/data warehouse experience is required
A strong understanding of financial processes is required, and experience in FP&A is a significant advantage
SQL experience is required
Working knowledge of technical systems (Tableau, Alteryx, SAP, BW, MDM, Anaplan) is required
Experience documenting best practices and enforcing strong governance in a team is required
A commitment and passion for continuous integration, improvement, and using automation to ensure stable deliverables is required
Knowledge of Tableau & Alteryx development is preferred
Strong Project Management Skills or experience leading implementations is preferred
Experience supporting business partners within the Finance organization is preferred
THE BENEFITS:
The Finance Data Design Manager will receive a salary, depending on experience, between $125,000 and $140,000.
