GLS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team and oversee the quality of all deliverables for a US military educational program. Quality Control Specialist responsibilities include developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of learning materials and courseware. Ultimately, you will work with several teams of Language Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Designers, and Software Developers to ensure our final products meet both contractual and organizational standards across the board.
Responsibilities
- Have deep knowledge about the Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and the contract Quality Control Plan (QCP): procedures for scheduling, conducting, and documenting inspections; discrepancy identification and correction; corrective action procedures to include procedures for addressing Government surveillance that has identified non-conformances; and procedures for root cause analysis to identify the root cause(s) and implement corrective action procedures to prevent re-occurrence of discrepancies
- Ensure adherence to standardized procedures/methodologies for monitoring and documenting contract performance to ensure all contract requirements are met.
- Establish and maintain procedures for trend analysis and procedures for collecting and addressing customer feedback/complaints.
- Recommend, implement and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
- Ensure that client expectations are met during the design, development and testing process.
- Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
Candidates must meet the following requirements, at at minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree with major study in quality assurance, education, education technology, or related field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of work experience in quality control of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) products.
- Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $53,496.55 – $75,000.00 per year

- 4 hour shift
