Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, support all facets of financial reporting activities
Generate and track departmental budget vs. actuals performance
Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Develop/maintain process to ensure proficient contract management practices are being adhered to
Review/monitor customer RFPs/contracts as it pertains to related financial and legal elements
Oversee day-to-day financial and operational activities
Manage Facilities/Maintenance Operations department
Manage a network of external resources (suppliers, contractors) as well as the building management team and internal resources to achieve intended results; help negotiate contracts and oversee service providers by building management including janitorial, HVAC, and others as appropriate
Review/approve ancillary services invoices from building management, and manage Service Level Agreements for all office-related vendors
Take part in any/all financial or operational system upgrade or integration efforts
Assist Accounting team periodically and as needed throughout the calendar year
Assist other members of the Administration team when needed with a variety of tasks
Support CFO in attending to various deliverables whether recurring or ad hoc in nature

Work experience / Knowledge:
Maintain strict discretion with regard to confidential business transactions, contracts, financials, and related matters of the company
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to interface within all levels of the company
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Qualifications / Certifications:
B.S. degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required
Minimum five (5) years accounting and financial/operational analytics experience required
Understanding of GAAP, financial forecasting, and budget management/reporting required
Contract/Vendor administration required
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Enterprise) preferred
Operations (Facilities/Maintenance) management experience preferred
