Scope and responsibilities:

Cuvée is looking to add a dynamic, technology-savvy, and effective strategic marketing leader to take Cuvée’s lead-generation to the next level. Working directly with the Company’s Founders, this person will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy of the organization. From cultivating new partnerships and channels, nurturing existing strategic relationships, and coordinating the effective use of the marketing team to achieve our revenue objectives.  We are seeking a passionate individual to execute the strategic and tactical initiatives necessary to grow and achieve a well-positioned global lifestyle brand.

The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for the following: 

• Manage the entire range of revenue-generating initiatives to include: strategy, branding, messaging, PR, SEO, SEM, sales promotions, trade events, public relations, and sales pipeline, process, and lead qualification;
• Manage and grow digital travel partners (AirBnB, VRBO) and direct strategy for PPC and SEO.
• Put in place measures and analytics to determine marketing effectiveness, return-on-investment, and achievable cost of customer acquisition. This person will be adept at utilizing market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to validate program strengths and implement improvements;
• Create and deliver focused and appropriate client acquisition strategies based on our unique target demographic, and then effectively measure cost and success of strategies and various campaigns (e-mail, events, collateral, PPC);
• Lead Marketing, Sales, and Guest Service teams to strengthen customer loyalty initiatives and increase client re-booking, retention, and referrals;
• Effectively utilize our CRM platform for all reporting and KPI creation, ensuring that all content is captured accurately and then utilized in sales training, planning, and forecasting;
• Manage internal marketing and events teams as well as outside agencies to generate and turn over leads from Cuvée-hosted events and other event participation;
• Select and manage outside agencies and contractors for all marketing related projects.
• Create, implement, and then manage business development and marketing initiatives to cultivate and grow new and existing channels and partnerships; Current channels include: strategic partners, direct clients, digital, travel agents, and wholesalers;
• Build a competitive intelligence function that will continuously monitor and evaluate the relevant industry competition and trends, using that data to drive sales, marketing, and pricing strategy;
• Working collaboratively with peers in Finance & Accounting and Guest Services to refine go-to-market strategies and best practices by monitoring applicable industry and company metrics;
• Manage all design, web, and content production developed by both internal team and third-party vendors;
• Implement focused and strategic social media participation as well as targeted contribution on relevant social sites and forums.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred;
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience is required;
• Previous marketing team management experience is required;
• Experience with CRM (ideally HubSpot), Analytics (ideally Google), and marketing automation tools is required;
• Strong SEO / SMO knowledge and previous experience executing successful campaigns is required;
• Demonstrated track-record of revenue improvement and growth as a direct result of implementing strategic processes;
• Previous work implementing marketing strategies with sales/customer service team highly desired;
• Must be metrics-driven and analytical executive with attention to detail and the ability to create meaning and drive action from analytics;
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent culture juggling multiple projects;
• Driven to succeed and work in a rapidly growing, team-based environment.
• Proven aptitude for creating and executing creative, strategic campaigns with entrepreneurial mindset;
• Operates with a sense of urgency and strives for higher standards.

Salary: Total Compensation (base + bonus) commensurate with experience – $160,000 to $250,000. Position includes extensive benefits including Stock Options, 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, take-what-you-need vacation, hybrid office schedule and so much more.
