About the role:
The Finance Manager will join Equip’s finance team to help build and lead the FP&A function for the company. This role will partner closely with the Director of Finance, Accounting team, Revenue Cycle team, and leaders across the organization to prepare routine and ad hoc reporting and analyses to support financial decisions throughout the company. As we are a small and fast-growing company, this role will create many processes from scratch and will drive the development of best practices across the finance organization. The Finance Manager is an ambitious self-starter who loves to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial reporting for internal and external audiences
Prepare monthly department-level P&L reports and supporting analyses comparing budget to actuals, and lead review meetings with company leadership
Develop annual budget and quarterly forecasts in close partnership with leaders across the company
Oversee, train and mentor analyst(s) as the team grows
Support system implementations planned for the next year, including rollout of new ERP system (NetSuite) and financial reporting software
Partner with Revenue Cycle team to understand dynamics of their workflow and prepare reporting that gives leadership and the board visibility into billing and collections performance
Other reporting and analyses to support business needs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, or related field
At least 4 years of experience in FP&A or related roles required, and at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare organization is preferred
Strong executive presentation and communication skills. Can effectively communicate complex topics written and verbally
Strong proficiency with Excel is required
Bonus if you have the following:
Experience with NetSuite, Athena or other RCM systems, EMR/EHR systems, Google Suite
Experience in a fast-paced startup or high growth company
Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment
