Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a long-standing non-profit organization seeking an FP&A Manager to join their team. This position reports directly to the CFO and Audit and Finance Committee.
About the Organization Seeking an FP&A Manager:
- Founded over 50 years ago and an annual budget of $80M, they focus on the social problems surrounding homelessness and work to not only temporarily house people for the night but create a long-term plan for the future
- They offer services such as job training and are advocates of an alternative court system which will help to remove some of the institutional barriers that perpetuate homeless situations

Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the Controller to develop the annual budget
- Assist the CFO and Controller on developing and monitoring budgets related to Advancement restricted donations
- Perform reforecasts and provide future year projections
- Manage monthly budget vs. actual reporting and analysis
- Partner with department budget managers to evaluate and resolve significant variances
- Continuously streamline and improve budgeting and reporting software
Background Expected of the FP&A Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years’ of FP&A experience
- Familiarity with Prophix and Abilia MIP is desirable but not required
- Experience with the not-for-profit social service industry preferred but not required
- Experience managing complex budget and reporting processes required
- Advanced Excel skills required
