Applies principles of accounting and financial analysis to lead in the production of health system wide financial statements (monthly and annually) and to independently complete related reports, as required. Uses advanced financial and information systems knowledge to analyze the daily, monthly, and annual transactions to produce finished reports for health system financial and operations managers. May supervise other employees.
Analysis of daily transactions and reconciliation of multiple systems technology, including: EPIC, Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft and Anaplan to include Cash, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and Accounts Payable
Extensive data retrieval, manipulation, import and interpretation from multiple systems technology, including: EPIC, Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Anaplan, requiring a robust knowledge of file conversion technology into an understandable format
Independently prepares financial reports using advanced systems technology including PeopleSoft NVision and Anaplan.
Daily interface, coordination, and support with the University Central Business Office and Medical Center Cashiering in order to resolve issues between entities
Coordinates and provides interpretation, and guidance to various health system departments including the Financial Consultants, Budget Office, and Medical Center Operations during the monthly and year-end financial close process and related budget cycles.
Provides quarterly, semiannual and annual benchmarking data through extensive query and datamining using multiple systems (EPIC, Workday, PeopleSoft, Anaplan) in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepares standard and ad hoc benchmarking, financial and budget reports using PeopleSoft NVision and Anaplan as needed.

Position Compensation Range: $59,072.00 – $94,515.20 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience: 3 years relevant experience required.

Thorough, complete understanding and application of standard accounting concepts and principles to include journal entry processing, understanding, and impact.
Concise communication skills, in order to articulate and advise multiple areas of the Medical Center as related to transaction processing, journal entry, and reports.
Vast technical computer and system knowledge working with multiple systems simultaneously, with the ability to toggle between systems and servers so as to maximize efficiency in transaction processing.
Proficient knowledge, skill, and experience using Excel, Access, Word, in order to maximize efficiency in processing tremendous lines of data daily so as to be able to load into PeopleSoft
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
